Though there is a multitude of accommodation available in the very center of Copenhagen, you are well advised to book in advance, especially during high season. Though a really grotty hotel is a rarity in the city, watch out for some of the cheaper ones if you don’t fancy the slightly seedy area around Istedgade. For those on a budget, the abundance of good hostels provides a very viable alternative.
