Most of Edinburgh’s accommodation is very central. Bed and breakfast lodgings in the New Town seem to be particularly popular not to mention convenient. The tourist information office, (see ‘City Orientation) can be of assistance when booking accommodation. If planning to visit Edinburgh during one of the festivals or the world famous Hogmanay New Years Party you must book well in advance as accommodation is limited and becomes booked-up quickly.
