Züssow, Germany

Rail Guide to Züssow

Introduction

This tiny town in northern Germany has just fifteen hundred inhabitants. Nicknamed the “Sunshine Island”, Züssow is the sunniest spot in both Germany and Poland and has become the gateway for the beach-tourism heading to the north-eastern island of Usedom and surrounding areas. It has also got the unusual title of "smallest ICE stop in the country" as two ICE trains per day stop here taking passengers direct to München!
