As the name suggests, Luxembourg’s Rock A Field is predominantly a rock festival. It takes place outdoors and attracts roughly 20,000 people, making it the biggest event of its kind in the city. From the heavy rock of Deftones and Queens of the Stone Age to indie bands like Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys, expect an all-dayer of the world’s best known guitar acts. Food and drink is available on site, and as the event lasts just one day there is no camping on site, however those travelling from other areas have various campsites to choose from (should they really want the full outdoor festival experience). The music starts at around 11 and goes on till just after midnight.
