European East Pass

If your European trip involves visiting Austria, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia you should consider purchasing the European East Pass. The European East Pass gives you great freedom to travel this overlooked side of Europe for a great price.

The European East Pass will give you:
  • 5 days of travel to be used within 1 month
  • A choice of 1st or 2nd class
  • Optional extra days up to a maximum of 5
  • The pass is valid on all direct trains through Germany between Kufstein and Salzburg (this is providing you do not change or leave the train).

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey

General Eurail Conditions

  • Age 4 and under travel for free.
  • Ages 4-11 qualify for free child fares (2 per adult fare).
  • Ages 12-25 qualify for "youth" second class passes.
  • Ages 26 and over qualify for first class passes only.
  • Group Saver Passes offer a discount per person over regular passes.
  • Passes must be validated at a train station within 11 months of issue.
  • Passes can not be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • High Speed and overnight trains will require reservations and supplement payments.

Purchasing options for Eurail passes

  • Youth Pass - (2nd class only, 12 - 25 on day of pass validation)
  • Adult Pass - (1st class only, 26 or over on day of pass validation)
  • Saver Pass - (Groups of 2 or more travelling together)
