Belgrade Maps

Belgrade is a large, sprawling city that has its own autonomous city government. Across the city, there are seventeen areas in total; all of these areas have their own councils.

The original city of Belgrade was established on the right bank of the Danube and Sava Rivers. As the city has grown it has moved to encompass the left bank of the River Sava. In total, Belgrade now covers nearly 360 square kilometres (encompassing ten of the council regions), with the metropolitan area covering a vast 3200 square kilometres (including the remaining seven council regions).
