Helsinki Maps

The impressive, classic art-nouveau design of the train station, make it a pleasure to view as you arrive here. Lying in the heart of Helsinki’s center it also provides a convenient location to explore from. All trams stop immediately outside or within short walking distance, as do local bus services. The long-distance bus terminal lies only a short walk up Simonkatu.

Though the station itself does not house a tourist office, the city’s main information point for tourists lies just south-east along Pohjoisesplanadi and has plenty of information on all Helsinki’s many sights and opportunities. An accommodation service is available between the station and the post office at Asema-aukio 3.
