Venice Maps

For most visitors arriving by train Santa Lucia station is the first port of call, located at the west end of the Grand Canal it also has a small tourist office. Make sure you validate your ticket before boarding the train. From the station it takes about thirty minutes by foot to the center, an alternative is the short journey on the Vaporetto (water bus). The main Tourist Office (Azienda di Promozione Turistica) is located just off Piazza San Marco. Visit www.turismovenezia.it.
