A huge collection of exhibits representing Finnish history through the ages.
The National Museum of Finland contains exhibits and gallerys representing Finnish history dating back to the Stone Age.
There are six main areas of permanent exhibitions - the Treasure Trove (coins, jewellery etc), Prehistory (archeological exhibits), The Realm (Finnish culture and society), The Land and Its People (folk culture) and The 20th century (Finland's International culture and independence).
The museum was updated and re-opened in 2000 and is now a must see attraction when visiting Helsinki.
