Prague Castle is built on a fantastic scale consisting of many palaces and the St. Vitus Cathedral, and is thought to have its origins as far back as 880. Spend a day walking around the historical streets such as the famous 'Golden Lane' with its pretty cottages or discover the beauty of the surrounding gardens. Whilst here, you should visit the Royal Summer Palace and its singing fountain or the Prague Castle picture gallery displaying the art collection of past emperor Rudolf II.
