Britain's only natural thermal waters just as they were enjoyed by the Romans over 2000 years ago

This is a very special day spa experience where you can choose to bathe in the purifying, naturally warm, mineral waters that are sourced directly from within a gap in the limestone that lies beneath the city of Bath.

The New Royal Bath which opened following a complete transformation of the former site, is a fusion of glass, stone, light and water. This creates a beautiful setting in which to enjoy a typical 2-hour spa session (towel, robe & slippers are provided to guests). Relax in two spectacular baths; the spectacular open-air rooftop pool, and the Minerva bath, names after the Roman goddess of health and wisdom, which are fed by the naturally warm, mineral-rich waters of the spa water. Also on site is a multi-sensory Wellness Suite.

The Bath waters were even 2000 years ago. believed to relieve rheumatic and muscular disorders, as well as skin ailments and respiratory problems. This still remains the case today, with many swearing by its healing powers. Visitors can select from the array of treatments on offer to help treat mind, body and soul.

Getting to Thermae Bath Spa by train

There are regular train services direct from London Paddington to Bath Spa, with a journey time of about 80 minutes. Bristol Temple Meads is a 15 minute journey time from Bath Spa.

The Spa is right in the centre of Bath, just walk uphill into the city from the train station and you'll get to the Abbey and Roman Baths, just head to the left when you get here and you can't miss it.
