Brasov Maps

Due to Brasov’s central location, many of the guided tours of Romania actually start here, including those heading for the Black Sea, as well as tours of the monasteries in northern Moldavia.

The area around Brasov is largely mountainous and this has shaped the way in which the city has grown to accommodate its new residents. Tampa Hill remains a focal point in the city and stands approximately 995 metres above sea level. Cable cars run to its peak from where you can enjoy a wonderful vantage point overlooking the sprawling city built around the smaller peaks.
