As you would expect, a city with such a long history has a wide range of splendid architectural edifices and historic places to visit. Without a doubt, travelling to the top of the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress by cable car and enjoying the far-reaching views is one of the ‘must see attractions’ for anyone visiting Koblenz. Other attractions include St Florin’s Market, the medieval churches of St Florin and Our Lady’s Church, as well as the numerous Weinstubes (or wine taverns). A walk along the Rhine or Moselle riverbank is also an absolute must for those wanting to enjoy a quiet and peaceful stroll.
