Koblenz Transport
Access to Koblenz is well indicated and the city’s transport system in and around the town is amazingly easy to navigate. It is possible to walk from the main train station to the old centre in less than thirty minutes, making this the most popular way of getting around Koblenz.
Driving around Koblenz is not very easy and, in particular, it is worth bearing in mind that there are substantial parking restrictions within the old city. For this reason, buses are seen as the simplest way of getting around for those who do not want to walk. As a general rule, buses run around the city from approximately 5:30 am and 11pm.
When it comes to getting to Koblenz there are three major airports within one hour’s travelling time, the most influential of these being Frankfurt which has a direct train link with Koblenz.
