Introduction
Bonn lies approximately 25km to the south east of Cologne in western Germany. As the former capital of West Germany as was, it has maintained the transport links that befit a major capital city (despite actually being very small in size). It shares an airport with Cologne, lies just off the A555, A565 and A59 motorways (Autobahn) for road travellers, and has excellent rail connections via ICE and IC routes, to Berlin, Luxembourg, Munich and Stuttgart amongst other destinations for those travelling in by train.Stations in Bonn
