Introduction

Kordel lies within hiking distance (approx 20km) north of the beautiful, Roman city of Trier, close to the border with Luxembourg. The station itself dominates the village, which has just a handful of cafes and shops, and serves both the local population as well as the walkers and tourists that come here to visit Burg Ramstein and the beautiful surrounding walks.
