As you can imagine travelling at this height through the mountains makes for a jaw dropping experience, the views are simply stunning and if you're anywhere near this area on your European trip we'd recommend you try this. The only thing to bear in mind is that travellers who suffer from vertigo might not enjoy the journey quite as much!
Tickets and Passes
Separate tickets will need to be purchased at the station in Interlaken as this is part of a private railway. Even though the tickets are expensive there are a couple of ways to save.
1. Eurail Pass holders get a 25% discount
2. Swiss Card and Swiss Pass holders get a 50% discount
3. Families are able to get free travel for children under 16 if they fill out a Family Card form at the station.
