Brighton Pride

Brighton Pride is without a doubt Britain’s biggest Pride event.

Brighton Pride is without a doubt Britain’s biggest Pride event. As well as the parade through the city centre, the main event in the park has dance tents with DJs, live bands, cabaret tents, a fun fair and bars. Run by a charity, there is a serious side to this rainbow-coloured event, which aims to promote equality and diversity by holding a fun and extravagant festival every summer. Each year around 150,000 turn up to party, many of whom travel from London and other parts of the country. The event runs through the day, but there are numerous bars surrounding the event taking part in the festivities till late into the night.
