This is the place to come for those that enjoy art or examining architecture in action, or indeed both!Housed in a fabulous building which combines the best of traditional and modern, the permanent collection of the Crawford Art Gallery has grown steadily in recent years. The emphasis of the collection is 20th century and contemporary Irish art (such as the works of Jack Yeats and James Barry), although other pieces from international artists are also available to view with over 2,500 pieces and exhibits in the collection in total.
