Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum

The Museum houses extensive collections relating to the history of Salisbury, and the archaeology of south Wiltshire, including Old Sarum.

If you're interested in nearby Stonehenge and Wiltshire's rich archaeology then Salisbury Museum should be on your list of places to visit.

The museum is situated near the Cathedral in the grade 1 listed King's House, a house frequently used by King James I of England.

There are several gallerys around the building including the ceramics and the wedgewood gallery. The building itself is also part of the attraction with the amazing ceilings and oak staircase.
