The Cologne Peace Run is a 10 km run which began in the 80s with the aim of protesting against the nuclear arms race. The length of the run means participants will need some degree of fitness and training, and the prize may only be a cup and a T-shirt, but it’s all for a great cause. Don’t confuse this with the bigger, better known, Ford-sponsored marathon.
