Eiffel Tower

Built in 1889 and reaching 312 meters to the top of the flagpole, and 324 meters to the top of the antenna this incredible structure was designed by the french engineer Gustave Eiffel. His design and proposal was chosen from 107 in total as the winning design for the planned structure.

Nowadays the structure has become a major attraction in Europe welcoming 7 million visitors every year. Visitors can not only travel up the structure in one of the four lifts available, the athletic ones are able to climb up to the 2nd floor should they choose to! Once making the ascent, you can stop of for a delicious dining experience at the restaurants on the first or second floor or just head to the top to admire the stunning views!
