The newly elected Lord Mayor presents themself to the royals

The Lord Mayor is a position separate from the mayor of London and refers to the position at the head of the City of London not Greater London. The Newly elected Lord Mayor must then present themself to the royals which has now become a British tradition with a large procession taking the Lord Mayor to the Royals.
