With views over the breathtaking vistas of the French Alps, each year thousands gather to experience the Snowsttack festival of skiing, snowboarding and music.

During daylight hours, skiing and snowboarding are the order of the day, with lots of special events and a full festival programme, including beer-pong, skewball and snow dodgeball! After sunset there is a smattering of skiing by torchlight, some poker, retro-iceskating, a quiz night and firebenders to entertain you into the early hours; then music takes over with parties until dawn!

Getting to Snowattack by train

The nearest train station is in Embrun approximately 18km away from Les Orres (shuttle buses are provided to the resort from the railway station call +33 (0)4 92 502 505 or 05voyageurs.com for more info).

To get to Embrun direct from Paris, take the Paris - Briançon overnight sleeper train, or the service from Paris - Grenoble or Valence via TGV (high-speed train) then TER regional train to Embrun. Travel time is approximately 6 hours.

There is also a direct service from Marseille to Briançon which stops at Embrun station.
