Wonderous Stories Film Festival

Three-day film festival celebrating independent cinema

This three-day film festival began in 2018 with a mission to screen independent cinema from all over the world in a stunning open air location: within the Stolpe national park, at the foot of the 16th century Stolpe tower.

The programme focuses on arthouse films, with three feature-length films shown each night on the large outdoor screen, and continuous screenings of shorts and documentaries throughout the day inside the tower. Additionally there are film industry workshops and lectures, and recreational activities including yoga, walks through the park and drawing lessons. The festival ticket includes camping onsite and there are food and drink stalls, though you can also bring your own and stay in accommodation elsewhere.

In 2020 the festival moved to Watermans Arts Centre in London where there's no an annual program of events.
